Audrey Martin Dance Teacher, Studio Owner and founder.
Dylan Martin Riddle Roundhosue Tong So Do instructor.
Audrey Martin is the Studio Owner of A Chance to Dance Studio/Riddle Roundhouse. She started her dance and gymnastics journey at the age of 3. When she was 8 years old, she knew when she grew up she wanted to be a dancer. Her dream was to dance at the England Royal Ballet School, although all her teachers told her she would be best suited to teach. She had a free spirit and wanted to choreograph her own dances. She started choreography at the age of 8 when her teachers allowed her to perform solos of her choreography on stage. When she was 14, she was asked by a family member to teach her daughter dance, as they couldn't find a studio in the area that accepted students at the age of 2. Through this, she found others that also wanted her to teach. She continued teaching and training under Susan Chitwood who taught her how to be a teacher and the knowledge she needed to achive that. When Audrey was 17, she wanted to continue her training in Eugene at an arts collage. God seemed to have other plans in mind for her though, so she stayed in Riddle to continue the studio she started at the age of 14. She is happy with the life God has chosen for her to have, teaching students in the area at a low price that is affordable. She believes that no matter what your skill level, age, or disability you should still have A Chance to Dance!
Dylan Martin started his training in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 10. He worked really hard to achive his black belt by the age of 17. He enjoyed the art very much. When he was reunited with his pre-school sweetheart, she encouraged him to continue to train and be better. When he married Audrey at the age of 19, he was encouraged by his wife to teach martial arts at her studio. He loves to work with the kids and help them to learn the skills and the discipline that is needed for them to achieve their goals to move up belt ranks. He looks forward to introducing the art to many more students over the years to come.
